Blogging

I've been blogging to a personal site now for about four years and work in a web team which has been using blog tools in Knowledge Blogs fashion for about the same length of time.

We began using a couple of copies of Radio Userland with one machine syndicating the output of another and pushing the merged content out to our team intranet site, but as more team members got the blog-bug we moved onto Movable-Type (MT) which we still run now.

I wanted to list all the known features of weblog software, but more important, get to the heart of what a weblog is, and how a weblog is different from a Wiki, or a news site managed with software like Vignette or Interwoven.
