Online WritingI've been writing on various personal and shared websites for many years now and have generally been able to contribute to them un-edited which is good in some ways... and bad in others. One thing you discover rather early is the surprising amount of courage needed to publish something on-line from your own finger-tips without worrying too much about what others are going to think about it. Same problem with mechanisms like blogs where various Blogging Issues seem to get in the way of free publishing You also quickly realise there's more to it than simple free-flow verbal diarrhoea, writing on-line takes effort, as much as it does for many other media. It also takes time to develop a personal and lubricated writing style that can be consumed without effort (by anyone other than your mother that is :-) Its for this reason I thought I'd keep a list of essential-reads that are worth digesting, and re-reading periodically for direction and stimulation when the bloggers-block strikes...
